Love Is In The Air

As Summer begins to draw to a close, the days get shorter, skirts get longer, beer gardens get colder and your local cinema hots up with romance in the air this September on the silver screen. As the blockbuster season ends the classic rom-com is set to enter the void left in our viewing schedules, with an array of mega-female blockbusters releasing across the month.

Eye candy sure to set pulses racing in September comes in the form of Justin Timberlake, teamed up with the ingénue of the moment Mila Kunis in the aptly-titled, romantic comedy Friends With Benefits. Following that Michael Fassbender keeps us swooning with his portrayal of the mysterious Mr. Rochester in the period drama Jane Eyre.  Mid-September sees Sarah Jessica Parker struggling to hold her perfect life together in I Don’t Know How She Does It as well as the soul-swapping antics of Ryan Reynolds in The Change Up.

With a stellar cast including Steve Carrell, Julianne Moore, Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone and Marissa Tomei, Crazy Stupid Love will undoubtedly become a must-see towards the end of the month. And closing off the season of romance will be the indomitable comedy stylings of Anna Faris in Whats Your Number? an hilarious ode to the eternally unlucky in love.

All this love in the air has put us in a good mood and so we are offering a special deal to advertisers who would like to tightly target the female audience.  Advertisers booking 6 weeks with Female Première Package in September can avail of free production (transfers & prints) as well as a free sampling/foyer promotion campaign!

Be Afraid, Be Very Afraid...

Blood, sweat, action, scares… entertaining the youth male audience can often be as easy as shooting fish in a barrel. So it’s no wonder that Halloween Season at the cinema is typically such a strong time for targeting for young men and Halloween 2011 is no exception.

The thrills and chills kick off in early October with Hugh Jackman flexing his mechanical muscles in the action-packed Real Steel. Our collective childhood fears are then realised in the thrilling horror Don’t Be Afraid Of The Dark starring Guy Pearce.

Action meets aristocracy mid-October in the high-octane, explosion-heavy, kick-ass adventures of The Three Musketeers. Closing out the macabre month is the classic, fly-on-the-wall terror Paranormal Activity 3 and the apocalyptic tale of an out-of-control, deadly virus in the star studded Contagion.

With so much guns, ghouls and gut-wrenching action on offer, cinemas nationwide will be filled to the brim with giddy young men and directly targeting this captive audience is an impressive opportunity not to be missed.
Advertisers booking 6 weeks with the Male Première Package in October can avail of free production (transfers & prints) as well as a free sampling/foyer promotion campaign!
