Coverage & Frequency

Cinema campaigns, just like other media, can be measured by coverage and frequency. The coverage is essentially the proportion (%) of a target audience who are exposed to a campaign (going to cinema across campaign weeks). The frequency is the number of times those people reached will be exposed to the activity (number of times they go to the cinema).

Research proves that the high impact of cinema means that one exposure to an advert on cinema is effective compared to other media where multiple exposure is necessary.

Production

Cinema commercials are shown both digitally and on 35mm film. The lead time from booking to getting on screen is approx. 3 weeks. Getting your TV ad transferred to film is simple, for further enquiries contact us on 01 232 0955.

Clearance

Cinema Advertising Association cinema buying guidelines ensure your campaign meets industry agreed standards.

Requirements:
CAA (All advertisers), CCCI (ROI Alcohol advertisers only), BBFC (UK & NI advertisers only). This needs to be completed in advance of the cinema production process and can take up to 1 working week.
